Scotland: Forces Children Scotland Student Funding

Students from armed forces & veteran families have until Friday 19 August to submit an application to Forces Children Scotland for funding to help them realise their potential and thrive at college or university.

We put students from Armed Forces and veteran families across Scotland first. We’re here, every step of the way, to help young people realise their potential and thrive at college or university.

We can support students, from serving, reservist and veteran families who have enrolled in college and university courses across the United Kingdom in several ways.

Service Family Accommodation (SFA) Communications Update: FDIS Accommodation contracts update

Updates on Accommodation contracts

For updates on the Accommodation contracts, please go to Service Family Accommodation - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)where you can subscribe for update notifications

Applications for Service Family Accommodation

On receipt of an Assignment Order, Service personnel should apply for Service Family Accommodation (SFA) as soon as possible via the E1132 form which can be found here.

The National Service Centre (NSC) has noticed an increased number of instances of Service personnel calling regarding the status of their E1132 application within hours of making the application. To reduce the volume of calls to the NSC, we would be grateful if you could wait for 15 working days after you have applied for SFA to enquire about your request, if you have not already been contacted by Pinnacle with an offer of SFA.

Launch of Army Official Health & Wellbeing Closed Facebook Group

Launch of Army Official Health & Wellbeing Closed Facebook Group

A new Health and Wellbeing Facebook group has been launched for Regular and Reserve Army personnel only. The aim of this group is to provide access to information on relevant topics (including policy updates and useful articles) and will also act as a forum for peer-to-peer support.

Join the group by using the link below (forwarded to your personal device) or it can be found on Facebook through searching Army Health and Wellbeing. Once joined please share the group far and wide with your Army colleagues. They will be asked a series of questions to confirm that they are serving – please ensure that these are completed fully. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1061344861429921/

Please note that this is only for current Army (Regular and Reserve) personnel, not for Veterans, Families or MOD Civilians.
