Brecon: Message from UWWO - Allotments - Infantry Battle School
A team of IBS soldiers worked hard over the last few months to build allotments at the top of camp.
There are 12 plots in total but only 5 remain un-allocated.
If someone in your household works at IBS or 160X either military or civil servant or MPGS, and you would like to have an allotment plot, then come and see me - the IBS Unit Welfare Warrant Officer in IBS Welfare centre and I will add you to our list of plot holders.
Only 5 left!!
Allotment gardening is not only good for your physical health but for your mental health too, providing a sense of purpose and an ideal opportunity to get outdoors and be active at all times of the year.
Allotments can provide a valuable community and are a great way of connecting with people and nature.
Running an allotment doesn't have to be a solo project, get the kids involved as well.
