An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Cadet Administration Assistant (CAA) within HRFCA. The successful applicant will provide administrative and logistical support to Angus & Dundee Battalion (Bn) ACF. Applicants coming from an Armed Forces background with RQMS/CQMS appointments would be advantageous. Other applications that show suitable experience may be considered. Through their inter-personal skills be able to deliver G1/G2/G4 advice using relevant Joint Service Publications (JSPs) to Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV) within their Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Cafe Inc is a free lunch club for children and young people. It offers tasty, healthy meals during school holidays when schools are closed.

No booking needed, just drop in. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult, who can also enjoy a meal.

Missing the feeling of community? We get it and so do the rest of our veterans and families who come along. Join us for a brew and a chat. No sign up required, just rock up, no fuss. If you know another veteran or family member who could use a bit of the same, bring them along too! Suitable for veterans and family members, led by the Help for Heroes team

Help for Heroes Cafes are informal, relaxed events where you can meet and enjoy time with other veterans and families. It could be anything from a coffee morning or veteran hub to a veteran-led group. These welcoming events run across the UK and are open to all members of the Armed Forces community.

It's an easy way to dip your toes back into the water and feel like part of a community again. There's no need to book, just turn up and say hello. First brew is on us.

Fife: Fife Council free School meals and school clothing grant applications now open for 2026-2027


Applications for school clothing grants and free school meals are open for 2026-27.

We can provide free school meals and a school clothing grant if you are on a low income. The school clothing grant is £130 per child for primary school pupils and £160 per child for high school pupils.

Applications for the new school year (2026/2027) opened on 1 May 2026.
