Scotland: Army Cadet Charitable Trust (ACCT UK) seek a volunteer for the role of ACCT Scotland Branch closing date Thursday 27th February 2026

Appointment of ACCT UK Scotland Branch Chair 

ACCT UK Scotland is a branch of the Army Cadet Charitable Trust (ACCT UK), a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. Working alongside our strategic partner, the British Army, we support young people across Scotland to access cadet activities through the Army Cadets. This support includes grant-making, resource development, and direct financial and practical assistance. 

We are now seeking a volunteer from the community in Scotland to apply for the role of Chair of ACCT Scotland Branch. Please see the attached role specification for full details of the responsibilities and eligibility criteria. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences who meet the essential requirements of the role.

 Applications should include a short CV and a covering letter and be sent to: Martin Passmore, Secretary, ACCT Scotland martin.passmore@acctuk.org 

The closing date for applications is Thursday 27 February 2026. It is anticipated that interviews will take place in late March 2026, with the successful candidate expected to take up the post at the end of October 2026.

Fife: Primary 1 enrolment is now open apply by midnight 15th March

 

If your child turns 5 between 1st March 2026 and 28th February 2027, the application process for enrolling them into P1 has now opened.
