Tayport: Tentsmuir National Nature Reserve Annual Open day Tuesday 8th July 10.30-15.30

Find them on the picnic area of the Forestry and Land Scotland car park at Kinshaldy. The event itself is free but parking is £2 (coins).

Please come along if you are able, and take part in lots of fun activities for the whole family - wildflower bombs, Meet a Moth, build a bird box are just some of the activities.

There are also a few bookable walks that must be booked on to if you wish to attend including a Discover Tentsmuir NNR walk and a Big Bug Bonanza - more info coming soon!

Aberdeen: Armed Forces Day in Aberdeen, Saturday 28th June

Join us Aberdeen this Armed Forces Day as the local military community parades proudly through the city.

Serving personnel, veterans and cadets will be flanked by pipe bands and military vehicles in this annual celebration of those who serve.

Edinburgh: Armed Forces Day Saturday 28th June

A parade of Scotland’s finest, led by Highland and Lowland Bands will be marching on through Edinburgh to proudly mark this year’s Armed Forces Day

To join in the fun, watch the parade as it marches through the town centre, and join the celebrations and refreshments as it comes to a halt at St Andrew’s Square.

Fife: Cafe Inc during the school holidays and is a free lunch club for children, and young people.

Cafe Inc is a free lunch club for children, and young people. It provides tasty, healthy meals for our young people, while our schools are closed during the holidays. 

No need to book, just turn up. 

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult, who can also have a meal.

Fife: Fife Carers Centre Caring for the Carer Mental Wellbeing Programme ** next session is Friday 11th July in Leven**

Fife Carers Centre are launching a Wellbeing Programme designed just for carers, starting this March.

Each programme runs for 6 weeks, with sessions starting at 11am. 

Plus, lunch and refreshments will be provided.

We’ve teamed up with amazing professionals like Bill Paterson (CBT sessions) and Deborah Enrici (silent counselling) to make this an impactful and supportive experience.

📌 Locations & Start Dates:

• Kirkcaldy: Monday, 3rd March
• St Andrews: Tuesday, 15th April
• Dunfermline: Thursday, 22nd May
• Leven: Friday, 11th July
• Glenrothes: Monday, 18th August
• Dunfermline: Tuesday, 30th September

Leuchars: Welfare Team Motorhome for hire

The Welfare Team are please to announce that bookings are now being taken(for May onwards) for the hire of their newly purchased 6 berth motorhome.

£50per day or £300 per week - minimum 3 days hire.

Half of booking fee required to confirm booking with final amount payable 4 weeks before date of booking,

A £500 deposit is required on collect - this can be held against a credit card.

Drivers must be 23 or over and have been driving for at least 2years.

Due to additional cleaning costs and allergies, no pets are allowed in the motorhome.

St Andrews: Friday Blast at Madras - for those attending Madras last session 27th June

Monthly youth work sessions at Madras for p7 and S1 pupils starting in March. These will take place on the last Friday of every month and will include a parent space. 

A variety of fun activities that will help young people get to know each other and have fun. Youth work will run from 6:30 to 8 and all activities are free.

We will have a designated parent space throughout these sessions ,where parents can come in have a cuppa and chat to other parents if they wish.

To help us plan and organise we would like people to sign up in advance of the sessions, this will ensure that we can keep track of numbers and that we will have all the necessary details required and therefore we will not need to do paperwork on the night.
