Free concert on the 3rd Friday of each month, except January.
A monthly series of professional standard recitals performed by superb singers and instrumentalists.

Donations welcome to raise money for the future generation of musicians through the Karl Draymond Bursary Fund and to support the work of Chepstow Priory Friends. Tea/Coffee/Biscuits and ‘chat’ are available before and after each concert.

We’re proud to hold the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award, recognising our commitment to supporting veterans, reservists, service families, and colleagues with military connections. 

To build on this, we’re launching a new Armed Forces and Ex-Military Community Network. 

This network will create a safe, welcoming space to connect, share lived experiences, and help shape how we support our Armed Forces community across Fife Sports and Leisure Trust.

First meeting: Wednesday 18th March
10:00am – 12:00pm
Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre
Free to attend – no need to book

If you have an ex-military background or service connection, or simply want to learn more, you’ll be very welcome. Tea and cakes included!

Housing drop in is 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month. 0900 - 1200hrs.

With lakeside stalls and food vendors, plus the café at Fairhaven Lake, it’s a great day out! All raising money for Blue Skies – Blackpool NHS hospitals charity fund.

You can also register your team to take part! Feel the adrenaline surge as the drums beat in sync with your heartbeat, propelling your team across Fairhaven Lake. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-timer, this is an unforgettable adventure for a fantastic cause.

CATZERO Partners Programme & Veterans Programme 2026

 

CatZero Humber is a charity dedicated to the support of people of all ages, including young people and full families, helping them into employment or training. Its unique way of working for the last fifteen years, through confidence-building activities, tailored plans and by using the organisation’s 72-foot Challenge yacht as a tool for change, has helped hundreds of people back into education, training, or simply on the path towards their goals.

Stafford Library Short Story Competition


Stafford Library launches its first ever short story writing competition to celebrate the National Year of Reading.

The competition is open for both children and adults and applicants are encouraged to write family friendly stories where an aspect of Stafford must feature and all within a word limit. The winning stories will then get professionally published into a compilation by Dream Well Writing and will go on to library shelves for members of the library to read and enjoy. It’s a really exciting competition for anyone who fancies having ago.

The competition launched on the 23rd February and will close on the 30th April.
