We're delighted that the Vale Youth Service is running a Youth Pilot Project at The Gathering Place, St Athan.

Every Thursday (term time only) 6:00pm – 8:00pm

We often hear that there isn't enough for teenagers to do locally. This is a fantastic opportunity to change that—but for services like this to continue, they need to be used and supported.

If you have a young person who would benefit from attending, please encourage them to come along, get involved, make new friends, and help show that youth services are valued in our community.

Surrey: Apply For A Surrey LINK Bus Card

The Surrey LINK card is for young people aged 20 and under who live in Surrey. It can be used on any single or return bus journey that starts and/or finishes in Surrey and allows you to get 50% off the adult fare for the journey you are taking. On most routes this is the equivalent of a child fare.

The LINK card is free. A £10 administration charge will be made for replacement cards (that have been lost, stolen or damaged).

Bovington: Tank musuem launch their new children's adventure book

Titled Marjorie & RaaRaa at The Tank Museum, Rosanna’s new book sees a little girl named Marjorie exploring The Tank Museum alongside RaaRaa, her blue leopard friend.

The book follows the adventurous pair as they explore each part of the Museum, sightseeing and playing in interactive exhibitions.

Home-Start Cymru is running a Summer Group at the Little Scamps Building, designed primarily for children under 5 years old. Siblings are also welcome to attend during the school holidays, and dads are encouraged to come along too!
