Venue: Semaphore Arms Function Room (located near the WRVS/Junior Rates Cookhouse and WO/Sgts Mess).



Junior sessions, for children in school years 1 to 3 will return in due course. More information to follow in the coming weeks.

Wiltshire: 'Supporting My Neurodivergent Young Person' sessions

 

Do you support a neurodivergent young person?

Wiltshire Council's 'Supporting My Neurodivergent Young Person' sessions are designed for families to learn, share and connect.

There are several upcoming courses, and you can explore the timetable to find the session that works best for you. Each session looks at key areas like communication, sensory differences, attention and behaviour, with plenty of discussion and tips.

Here are some of the upcoming options:

• KS1 – four online sessions starting 25 February on Teams
• Teens – six in-person sessions in Warminster starting 9 March
• KS2 – two in-person sessions in Chippenham starting 12 March

This half term, drop in to the Your Place Wellbeing Family Day and chat to a range of friendly healthcare and wellbeing professionals, all under one roof.

From vaccinations to first aid demos and advice, it’s a great chance to ask questions, learn something new, and get support, with no booking needed!

And don’t worry… it’s not all serious! There will be fun, hands-on activities for young people too, including face painting and sports, making it an enjoyable day out for the whole family.

Young people in Surrey have an exciting opportunity to help shape the county's future. They can now vote for their next Member of Youth Parliament. Voting is open to anyone aged 11 to 18 and closes 22nd February. 

Sixteen young people are standing for election, and each one wants to help make Surrey better for children and teens. They bring their own ideas, experiences and a commitment to improving life for young people in Surrey.
