Vale of Glamorgan: Vale Family Compass - Summer Holiday Activity Programme

Vale Family Compass:

The Vale Council’s Family Information Service has launched its Summer Holiday Programme 2026, offering a wide range of activities for children, young people and families throughout the school holidays.

There is something for everyone, with activities ranging from science and gymnastics camps to music workshops, soft play sessions, family fun days and much more.

Council teams, including Vale Libraries, the Youth Service, Flying Start, and the Healthy Living Play and Sports Teams, are delivering a variety of free and low-cost activities across the Vale. Highlights include craft and story events in local libraries, free multi-sport sessions, playschemes and Play Ranger activities.

Our Summer Programme looks a little different this year due to technical issues with our usual database. We've moved to a new platform and are continuing to add activities, events and opportunities as information becomes available.

Activities designed to be accessible and welcoming to all children and young people, including those with additional needs or disabilities, ensuring everyone can participate and feel supported are in yellow.
