Reminder: Fortnightly garden waste collections started from 03 Mar 25

If you have signed up for a 2025/26 garden waste collection subscription, we will collect your garden waste every two weeks between 03 March 2025 and 28 November 2025, before the winter book and collect service starts

Not subscribed yet? Residents who sign up before 10 March 2025 will be able to subscribe to our early bird offer from £36 per year, the same price as in 2024.

The Council is currently reviewing all its charges for 2025/26 and prices for garden waste subscriptions may increase after 10 March 2025

You can check your collection dates, sign up for email reminders, and subscribe to the 2025/26 service online.

Moss-Rose Cottage is offering a Free Respite Retreat for unpaid carers, providing a well-deserved opportunity to relax, recharge, and connect with others. The retreat will take place on 11 March 2025 10am – 2pm in Rumney, Cardiff. offering a range of activities to support relaxation and wellbeing, including:
  • Massage of your choice
  • Meditation session
  • Art workshop
  • Tai Chi class
  • Lunch (please let them know of any dietary requirements)
Moss-Rose Cottage is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that supports people with invisible barriers and the carers who look after them. The retreats are designed to foster a sense of community and provide a space for unwinding.
