Chepstow Town Council: Road Closure Notice – Rifles Homecoming Parade

On Thursday, 2nd October 2025, 3.30–5:30pm, parts of Chepstow town centre will be closed for the 1st Battalion The Rifles Homecoming Parade.

Full Closure:
High Street, Bank Street & part of Oxford Street (2pm–5:30pm)

Rolling Closures:
Moor Street, Hardwick Terrace, Welsh Street
Beaufort Square, Middle Street, Upper Church Street, Bridge Street & Nelson Street

Please expect small delays while the parade moves through. Diversions will be in place.

What’s Happening:
A performance by The Band & Bugles of The Rifles at the War Memorial
Vehicle & equipment displays
Parade route: From the Fire Station (Regent Way) → through the Town Arch → down the High Street → finishing at Chepstow Castle

Participants will gain greater confidence in recognising triggers, reducing overwhelm, and creating safer, more inclusive environments for young people to manage anxiety and thrive.
