Kinross: Bushcraft and metal detecting day at Tullibole Castle Wednesday 6th November

Want to spend a great day outdoors, making your own tools and woodcraft, whilst having a catch up around the camp fire ?

Or what about looking for treasure in the woods and keeping fit at the same time ?

Then Veterans Tribe Scotland Bushcraft and Metal Detecting is just what you are looking for!

Join them, together with other Veterans Tribe Scotland members, taking part in some great activities, learning some new skills and making new friends along the way.

Veterans Tribe Scotland -

Lord Rhoderick Moncreiff has generously allowed us back to use the grounds of his home, Tullibole Castle in Crook of Devon which is just a short distance outside Kinross and the M90. The location is better known as a wedding venue, and the grounds are simply stunning.

What will we be doing ?
Bushcraft with Tom Gold from The Treeline
Building the camp fire
Cooking and making bread on the camp fire
Have a bit of banter and blether

Metal Detecting
VTS Volunteer Mentors to show beginners how to work the field
(or the woods in this case)
'Best Find' competition !

Introduction and advice to all things detecting

You will need to bring with you:
Packed lunch
Camping chair or something to sit on
(we have a few spare chairs but there is no guarantee there will be enough for everyone)
Clothing appropriate for the weather
If you have your own metal detector please bring this with you
(although this is not required to take part - there are a small number of detectors available for people to use)

All event materials and equipment are provided
There will be some canopy shelter at the location if needed
Toilet facilities will be available in the 'pantry' of the main house
