Blandford: Family free festival weekend Fri 31st May - Sun 2nd June



Crown Fest is back again for 2024 with 11 bands playing over the weekend of Friday May 31st - Sunday June 2nd at The Crown Hotel in Blandford Forum.

The weekend will be a free family event fille with live music, facepainting, food and drink, and an indoor market. There will be a marquee in the Sealy Suite Garden for the music and the venue will open to the public all weekend, with a two-day indoor market on the Saturday and Sunday from 11am - 3pm selling a variety of local crafts and wares.

Parking is available at the front and rear of the hotel and is free to guests and day visitors. The hotel serves food all day from 10am until 9pm in the main bar or in our restaurant. Dogs are welcome!

Maidstone: Jobs Fair at the Town Hall on Tuesday 21st May

 



Maidstone Borough Council has partnered with the Job Centre and Department for Work & Pensions to host a Jobs Fair for Maidstone residents on Tuesday 21 May at Maidstone Town Hall. The Fair, which is free to attend, will see representatives from Retail, Construction, Health Care and many more, looking to promote their vacancies to residents.

The event will take place between 10am-2.30pm. If you’d like to attend, you can register at your Local Job Centre on King Street, or just pop down on the day!

Home-Start offers friendship, practical support and emotional advice in the homes of families who are having difficulties managing parenting for a variety of different reasons such poor mental health, post-natal depression, disability, domestic abuse, bereavement, isolation and multiple births.

Our mission is to give children the best possible start in life, by supporting parents so they grow in confidence, strengthening and enjoying their relationships with their children and widening their links with the local community.

The event is open to all serving personnel, contractors, civil servants and families.

The Garrison owned minibus has 8 seats plus driver.

£35 per day

£100 refundable deposit

Collection times: 0900hrs

Return times: 0830hrs

No Mileage Charges

Please return the minibus clean and tidy, as you collected it.
