Education overseas for service children

 

The education provision for service children overseas can be categorised as Ministry of Defence (MOD) Schools and Settings or non MOD schools locations.

An update on the Education Overseas Supportability (EOS) Form 2021
All children 0 to 18 require educational clearance prior to overseas postings. This includes postings to MOD Schools and Non-MOD School areas.

All MOD Primary and Secondary schools are now expected to use the January 2021 Education Overseas Supportability (EOS) Form (PDF, 184KB, 4 pages) and not any other variation. Overseas educational clearances for locations other than those supported by MOD Schools will be managed by CEAS using the January 2021 EOS Form.

Parents should contact either the MOD School in the Overseas location or CEAS for further information about the educational clearance process.
