Blackpool: NAAFI break every Wednesday at the Corner Flag, Bloomfield Road

Blackpool FC Community Trust are hosting a range of programmes aimed at those connected to the armed forces.  From coffee mornings, to 5-a-side football, and even a veteran’s gardening club, the team are hoping to give veterans the chance to engage with other members of the community, and rediscover the unique camaraderie of serving soldiers.

Leuchars Station Medical Facility change to closing hours

Due to unavoidable staffing issues, Leuchars Medical Facility is changing its operating hours.
As of Monday 15th November, the Medical Facility will be closing at 1630. We will continue to offer clinical cover up until 1800, as we do now. This clinical cover will be accessible via the duty telephone only, and will be for urgent clinical presentations that cannot wait until the next day.

What does this change mean?
💠 There will no longer be access to the facility for collections of paperwork or prescriptions during 1630 – 1800
💠 There will no longer be access to the facility for walk-in enquiries or telephone enquiries during 1630 – 1800
💠 All calls will be directed to an answer machine message, providing advice to the caller

More information about prescription collection times to follow!
