Northern Ireland: Calling All Serving Women

 

Calling All Serving Women - Veterans News Hub NI are working to design a new programme of activity specifically for those ladies who are still serving and they wish to get as much input from you as possible.
Whilst this project will be delivered in Northern Ireland, inputs from women across the UK & working overseas are welcomed.

A-Level and BTEC successes at The Duke of York’s Royal Military School

 


Students at the Duke of York’s Royal Military School are celebrating success at A Level, with well over half of all of grades being A* - B, BTEC with an average of Distinction*, and 85% achieving A* - C grades.

Crickhowell: Create Play - Play sessions

Free outdoor play sessions offering loose part play, arts and crafts, and bubbles with a healthy snack cooked on the fire. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Aldershot: The Community Grub Hub

Community Grub Hub

The Community Grub Hub is a collective of people, organisations and businesses in and around Farnborough and Aldershot who care about offering food support to those in need in an open and supportive way, while reducing food waste.

It is like a shop but stock has been donated by local supermarkets, businesses and residents to prevent food waste and support people in need. It is all in-date and good quality. You can pick up items to help make meals (including some fresh items) and we have household and personal hygiene products too.

The article gives signposts and some suggestions to hopefully assist those in this situation, should they be needed.

Aurora New Dawn & Mankind - Domestic Abuse recovery programmes


As part of MOD's partnership with Aurora New Dawn, they are running a sexual violence recovery programme and an Athena domestic abuse programme for female Army and RN personnel and family members.
