Wiltshire: Apply now if your child is starting school in September 2025

Is your child starting primary or secondary school next year?

If so, applications are now open for you to apply online.

The deadline to apply for a primary school place is 15 January 2025 and you can find out the result on 16 April 2025.

The deadline to apply for a secondary school place is 31 October 2024 and you can find out the result on 3 March 2025.

Dundee: Highland Reserve Forces and Cadets Association Estates Manager Vacancy


Applications are invited for the post of Estates Manager for the Highland Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (HRFCA) based in our Dundee Office, Seathwood 365, Dundee, DD2 1lX. Date of appointment will be dependent on the availability of the successful candidate but is expected to be by Nov 2024.

The Post is Permanent/full-time based on a 37 hour working week. This is a Crown Servant (Civil Servant Band C2 equivalent) and the salary is £35,290. The successful candidate will be eligible to join the Council of RFCA’s Pension Scheme which operates on a Career Average Revalued Earnings (CARE) basis and has a personal contribution for members of 5% of pensionable earnings. Annual leave, excluding Public Holidays, is 25 days per year, rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service; previous public sector employment may count towards qualifying years’ service. Applicants must have a clean driving licence and should live within reasonable commuting distance of the Dundee office. A significant amount of travel is involved therefore candidates must be prepared to travel and spend nights away from home, for which reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. An Association vehicle is provided.

HIVE 40th anniversary local events - Wales Hub

 

To celebrate HIVE’s 40th Anniversary, events are taking place across the UK and overseas to mark four decades of support to the Service community.

Weeton: Update - Honeypot Under Fives Centre looking into extending opening hours


We are a term time only nursery currently opening 9-3 Monday to Friday. We still have some funded spaces available for immediate start including the funding for 9months+.

We are also looking to extend our hours, so if these hours do not suit, please let us know and we can try to accommodate.

Northern Ireland - European Heritage Open Days - 14th - 15th September

 

As part of Northern Ireland's contribution to the European Heritage Days, this September more than 260 of Northern Ireland’s historic buildings and monuments, landmarks and hidden gems will open offering free entry with many activities for you to enjoy.

There is a packed programme of events and activities ranging from guided tours and walks to talks and lectures, from living history re-enactors to community fun days and festivals, from musical events to screenings to brand new places to visit, there is something for everyone.
