Catterick: Criminal Damage in the Garrison
Appeal following Criminal Damage in Catterick Garrison
We’re appealing for information about a Criminal Damage that occurred in Catterick Garrison.
It happened at 6:50pm on the 14th November 2024, in Browning Close, Catterick Garrison, and involved two males kicking the front door of a property which has caused damage to the frame.
These two males are believed to be youths that formed a part of a larger group of around fifteen youths causing anti-social behaviour in the area on the night. The first male was wearing a black puffer style coat with a black hoodie underneath with the hood pulled up, black jogging bottoms, and black trainers. The puffer jacket had a small reflective logo on the front of the jacket on the left side. The second male was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap, a black soft shell sports jacket, with black jogging bottoms, and black trainers.
As the darker nights have drawn in we have seen an increase in anti-social behaviour in the Catterick Garrison area. As a result there has been an increase in police patrols in the area to deter this behaviour. I would also like to ask parents to consider where their children are at, who they are associating with, and what they are doing whilst out on a night.
We’re particularly appealing for information and CCTV that will lead to the identification of the two youths involved in kicking the door.
Please email Alex.Wilkinson@Northyorkshire.police.uk if you have any information that could help our investigation.
Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC 589 Alex Wilkinson, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
