Ross-On-Wye: A Teddy Bear’s Picnic at the Bandstand! Wed 27 Aug 25
Ross-On-Wye Town Council is delighted to announce a heartwarming community event for families, little ones, and their cuddly companions – the Teddy Bear Picnic, set to take place on Wednesday 27th August 2025, from 11:00am to 4:00pm in the beautiful surroundings of Caroline Symonds Gardens.
This fun-filled, family-friendly event is open to all, and everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, a picnic, and of course, their favourite teddy bear for a memorable day outdoors. Children can enjoy craft activities from Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, face painting, circus activities with Jitterbug circus and seed bomb making from Wye Valley National Landscape.
There will also be a prize for the best-dressed teddy, which will be judged by the town’s Deputy Mayor, Sarah Freer. So little ones are encouraged to get creative and bring their fluffy friend along!
The Council are also providing free packed lunches, with a limited number available.
For this, email tourism@rosstc-herefordshire for the form to register and declare any dietary requirements by Thursday 21st.
For those wishing to come along with their own food, no booking is required so bring your picnic basket and favourite soft toy!
