SVR are recruiting for a Housing Assistant (bank) to join our friendly, professional team at our Rosendael Residence in Broughty Ferry, Dundee.

There are no guaranteed hours with this post but you will be offered hours as and when required and available to cover for periods of staff absence. These will be a long notice, for example covering a booked holiday period; or short notice, covering an unplanned absence.

You will have an understanding of the supported housing sector and be able to demonstrate a track record of contributing to high quality services. You are reliable, consistent, focused, and flexible in your outlook and approach. You will be experienced in MS Office packages.

Our shifts are 8am to 4pm and 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 8am Monday to Sunday. The hourly rate is £13.88 per hour worked plus benefits.

SVR are recruiting for a Housing Assistant (full-time) to join our friendly, professional team at our Rosendael Residence in Broughty Ferry, Dundee.

Scottish Veterans’ Residences (SVR), offers a dynamic housing support service to assist our HM Forces Veterans to return to independent living where appropriate. Our Housing Assistants fulfil a pivotal role in our service. We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic professionals to deliver intensive housing management and support services to our Veterans.

You will have an understanding of the supported housing sector and be able to demonstrate a track record of contributing to high quality services. You are reliable, consistent, focused, and flexible in your outlook and approach. You will be experienced in MS Office packages.

The hours of work average 37½ hours per week average over a fixed, four weekly rota. Our shifts are 8am to 4pm and 2pm to 10pm Monday to Sunday. (Example attached). The annual salary is £27,071 per annum. We offer additional benefits, pension and generous holiday entitlement.

Leuchars: Station commission for anniversary of transition from Air to Land mural

To mark the 10th Year transition from AIR – LAND, the Station commissioned a local artist to paint a mural on the side of the Community Centre adjacent to the skatepark and MUGA.
