We are looking for someone to join our regional Armed Forces Outreach Service in an exciting new role to support management within the service and undertake a variety of tasks to help develop and promote the service.
You will need to have experience of either working in social housing or support services. As you will be supporting management within this role, we will require you to have effective communication skills and effective negotiation and problem solving skills as well as experience of working with external partners and attending external meetings as you will be working as part of a regional service with a variety of partners.
You will also need to demonstrate experience of writing service procedures and having 5 GCSE at grade C or above (including Maths and English) or equivalent (or relevant experience) is also essential for this post.
Working with data and supporting the service to update our social media platforms will require you to have IT skills and knowledge on how to use Microsoft Word and Excel
Although this post doesn’t require you to have previous experience of working with the Armed Forces community, you will need to demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the Armed Forces Covenant and a knowledge of Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding to complement this is also required.
