A fraudsters favourite valentines……is Gift Cards!
If anyone asks you for payment or they need to pay for something through a gift card, report to Action Fraud at www.actionfraud.police.uk
If you receive any suspicious SMS/WhatsApp messages claiming to be someone you know, asking for money by the use of a gift card, this will be a scam. Do not engage with fraudsters and do not divulge any personal information to anybody you don't know. If in doubt please check them out.
