Visitors can drop into a shadow puppet-making workshop led by Thunk-It Theatre. Inspired by the museum’s ‘Animal Allies’ special exhibition, children will have the chance to craft their own animal puppets and bring them to life through storytelling.
For those who enjoy a challenge, the museum’s Easter Pigeon Trail will run from 5th to 20th April. Families can explore Richmond in search of six hidden pigeons in shop windows throughout the town, follow the clues to find the pigeons that are each marked with a letter. Crack the code on your activity sheet and return to the museum to claim a special prize.
With hands-on creativity, an outdoor adventure, and plenty of history to discover, The Green Howards Museum is the perfect place to make Easter memories this spring.
