Bookbug sessions are free, fun and friendly events for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their families to enjoy together. 
Coming along to sessions is a great way to spend some quality time with your little one and gives you the opportunity to share stories, songs and rhymes with other parents/carers and their children.

Bookbug is Scottish Book Trust’s national Early Years programme. 
As a national charity, Scottish Book Trust delivers the Bookbug programme locally by working in partnership with local library and education services, the health service and third sector organisations. 
To support local delivery of the Bookbug programme, Scottish Book Trust provides its partners with training, advice and Bookbug bags of books.

16 hours per week, Wednesday-Saturday 10am-2pm.
Salary £22,464 pro rata
Post currently funded until 31st March 2025

Responsible for undertaking work as directed by the Manager to support the strategic management, development of The Home-Start Hub in Letham Glen whilst ensuring high standards of practice in supporting families within the ethos of Home-Start.

Essential requirements include:
• Minimum level of qualification HNC (SVQ level 3/4) in a relevant subject or proven commensurate experience of working to this level.
• Experience of working with vulnerable children and families in community settings
• Experience of working with volunteers.

Fife: The Cottage Family Centre; Are you a parent, carer, young person or working with families?

Fife Voluntary Action are currently leading a co-production project called Together for Change.

We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting co-produced project focusing on whole family wellbeing in Fife.

The project brings together people with lived experience of services & support, colleagues from the Third Sector, Fife Council and the Fife Health & Social Care Partnership.

We would love for you all to be involved with us and to have your say, let your voice be heard.

Over the coming weeks we are holding a series of collaborative conversation events throughout Fife. We are looking to engage with as many parents, carers, young people and staff currently working with families that we can to find out your thoughts and listen to your experiences of services and support for families in Fife.

There are a few ways people can book on to the events. The QR code on the below poster can be scanned, there is a link www.fva.org/togetherforchange which will take you directly to the booking form or people can email togetherforchange@fva.org to book a space.
