It’s Carers Rights Day 2024 on the 21 of November 2024. If you are an unpaid carer or young carer in the Vale of Glamorgan join GVS for a regional shortbreaks schemes launch to find out about the locally funded breaks you can access over the winter.

Join GVS from 1pm-3pm at Penarth Leisure Centre, Andrew Road, CF64 2NS.

Wales: Me Time sessions online support sessions for Carers - Nov & Dec 24

Our MeTime online sessions are designed to inform you of your rights and to support your wellbeing.

Sessions vary from practical advice on carers' rights and caring to a set of holistic wellbeing sessions that range from confidence-building to creative opportunities like crafting.

MeTime sessions for carers:

Monday 25 November, 11am-12pm: Carers Rights
Tuesday 26 November 2024, 1-2.30pm: First aid training
Wednesday 27 November, 1.30-2.30pm: Bryn Eryr (Iron Age) with Museum Wales
