LGBTQ+ Veterans Community Worker (VCW) – 1 post.

REF:- FWP/VCW/MID

£29,400 per annum, pro rata, based on 37.5 hours per week.

Based in the Midlands region

Partially remote worker (as the role will involve some face-to-face activity across the Midlands region).

Fixed Term Contract for 3 years.

Full time hours for years 1 and 2 and 0.7 FTE for year 3. These hours are in line with grant funding. (There is scope, which is not guaranteed, to expand these hours subject to other funding streams).

Want to show your partners how it's done? Sign up to take part in Exercise HIGHLAND FLING 2025.

Dont worry, it won't be a thrashing! The exercise is suitable for all fitness types, so please don't be put off if you are thinking you're not fit enough. 

The main aim of this is to have fun, make friends and have a wee insight into life in the field. You will be building your own overnight shelter, eating rations, shooting and much more (and maybe a few treats in the evening 😉).

What a day we have planned for you!

Cultural Village - Showcasing the diverse community at Kinloss Barracks. Stop by and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Fiji, Nepal and the Caribbean!

Highland Games - Watch soldiers from across the Regiment complete in feats of strength and personal fitness.

What about the kids - There will be a multitude of kids games, face painting, soft play, bouncy castles and of course ice cream! Exotic animals will be on display as well as a sheep sheering demonstration.

There will be a fully stocked bar and food vendors from across Moray.
