Your child does not need to attend Youth Club to go on this trip.

To sign up your child for the activity please scan the QR code or via the link HERE and complete the form. This activity is free but please send your child with a packed lunch, snacks, drinks and suitable clothes for the activity and weather. 

Ages 5 years and over only any under 8’s will need a car seat fitted by a parent or career. Please complete sign up by Thursday 19th June 14:00 hrs.

Barry: Women Construction Wales Project - Information session in Barry on Thu 19 June

Women Construction Wales, led by The Cii, is launching a fantastic project designed to help women aged 16+ with any background or ability to gain confidence, meet new people, and learn practical trade skills in a friendly, inclusive environment

You’ll get hands-on training in:

• Carpentry
• Painting & Decorating
• Plastering
• Flooring & Tiling
• Kitchen & Bathroom Fitting

And that’s not all — you’ll also:

Gain valuable qualifications like Emergency First Aid (Level 3) & CITB Health & Safety
Work towards your CSCS Card to open doors to employment
Receive PPE (boots, high-vis & anything else necessary – all provided!)
Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm (with flexible options for childcare, jobs, or other commitments!)
Based in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan
