Future Accommodation Model (FAM) pilot update

Future Accommodation Model pilot update

We are now three years into the FAM pilot. Throughout that time Defence has been working to create the best possible accommodation offer for Service personnel, their families and partners.

All those who are eligible can still take advantage of the FAM offer until the pilot end on the 31 March 2023.

Those expecting to be posted to the pilot sites: HMNB Clyde, Aldershot Garrison and RAF Wittering must have a Report for Duty date no later than the 31 March 2023.

Scotland: Forces Children Scotland Student Funding

Students from armed forces & veteran families have until Friday 19 August to submit an application to Forces Children Scotland for funding to help them realise their potential and thrive at college or university.

We put students from Armed Forces and veteran families across Scotland first. We’re here, every step of the way, to help young people realise their potential and thrive at college or university.

We can support students, from serving, reservist and veteran families who have enrolled in college and university courses across the United Kingdom in several ways.

Applications for Service Family Accommodation

On receipt of an Assignment Order, Service personnel should apply for Service Family Accommodation (SFA) as soon as possible via the E1132 form which can be found here.

The National Service Centre (NSC) has noticed an increased number of instances of Service personnel calling regarding the status of their E1132 application within hours of making the application. To reduce the volume of calls to the NSC, we would be grateful if you could wait for 15 working days after you have applied for SFA to enquire about your request, if you have not already been contacted by Pinnacle with an offer of SFA.
