Moray: Strictly Come Dancing with Active Schools 8-12 July 2024

Active Schools is delighted to share an exciting opportunity this summer. We are running a week long (non-residential) Dance Leader course (8-12 July).

The course is open to pupils aged 14+ and will take place in Elgin. It’s fully funded by Active Schools and fully supported by Active Schools Co-ordinators. Participants will receive a Level 5 Dance Leader qualification on completion of the course plus delivering dance sessions in their local community.

With 2 spaces available per ASG this is a great opportunity to meet others from across Moray with a passion for dance. The course tutor, Cora Meechan, did this same course as a teenager and loved it! Cora is now a PE teacher in Elgin and delivered our Dance Leader course 2 years ago. Our last course with a great success with everyone achieving the qualification. We are very much looking forward to running the course again this summer.

Information has been shared with schools and you can also find out more from your Active Schools Co-ordinator.

The application process is now open. The first stage is to complete this initial application form: https://form.jotform.com/240172940770353
