Free knife crime awareness workshops for parents and carers
Staffordshire Police is a partner of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Violence Reduction Alliance (VRA), so I’m getting in touch to make you aware of a couple of workshops taking place in March that may be of interest.The workshops have been designed to help parents and carers understand more about gangs, exploitation and knife crime.
Delivered as virtual (Zoom) sessions by the Ben Kinsella Trust, these workshops cover a range of topics such as the influence of social media, the signs and stages of exploitation, and how we can work together as parents, carers and the wider community to prevent young people being affected by knife crime.
