Dorset: Unwanted free household collection service for local residents
Dorset Reclaim is a not-for-profit furniture re-use project offering electrical and household goods donated from local people & businesses to the general public with additional discounts available for households on low incomes.
We have collected from more than 43,000 local people and prevented more than 25,000 tonnes of household waste going to landfill. We all know that recycling is good for the environment, but re-use is even better. Even recycling consumes energy that simply re-using avoids.
