Free Accredited Teaching Adults course (Level 3, 10 credit module) at Palmerston Learning Centre in Barry.
The course will run every Tuesday evening 5:30-8.30pm, starting 13/10/26 until 01/12/26 (break for half term)
This is a 10-credit level 3 accredited course that aims to develop the knowledge and skills for those interested in the rewarding profession of teaching adults. The course explores the roles and responsibilities of adult education tutors, effective teaching and learning methods, and diverse learning styles. It raises awareness of the essential skills needed to be an effective teacher of adults and to motivate students. Students will create a portfolio and deliver a presentation for assessment at the end of the course. The course also provides a progression route to the PCET teaching course.
