Defence outlines 2030 vision for the Armed Forces
The Secretary of State has set out the future vision for the UK Armed Forces ensuring the military is prepared for new and emerging threats and challenges.
Outlined in ‘Defence in a competitive age’, the UK Armed Forces will become a threat-focused integrated force with a continued shift in thinking across land, sea, air, space and cyber domains.
Defence will spend over £85 billion on equipment over the next four years so our Armed Forces can adapt, compete effectively, and fight decisively when needed. This will support 400,000 jobs across all four nations of the UK.

Armed Forces Covenant Fund: Force for Change Programme
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust are pleased to announce the Force for Change programme has now reopened for a further three rounds.
This programme will award grants of up to £10,000 for community projects that reduce isolation and promote integration; supporting post-Covid recovery in local Armed Forces communities affected by isolation.

British Army 8 week Mindfulness course
Everyone is stressed. Everyone has pressures. And it is hard to slow down in this fast-paced world. Welcome to the Army’s Mindfulness Course which has been available to serving Army personnel for some time, but it has now been opened up to a wider audience. Although this is an eight-week course, and it will be rolled out over eight weeks, it is designed so you can go at your own pace.
