Suicide Bereavement UK Armed Forces Suicide Bereavement Study

Suicide Bereavement UK are looking for volunteers for an NHS funded study – Can you help?

Have you, in the last 10 years, lost someone to suicide (family, friend, colleague) who was serving in the Armed Forces or a veteran?

If so, we would like to learn of your experiences and needs during the early stages of your loss.
The findings will help inform the development of an Armed Forces suicide bereavement pack for those bereaved by suicide in the future.

NHS Podcasts - Out Now

NHS Armed Forces Health Podcast now live.

This podcast series has been commissioned by the AF PPV in order to be used as a resource for the Armed Forces community to support them in understanding and navigating the NHS and to raise awareness of how to become empowered advocates for their own health as a patient or family member of one. There are six episodes in all taking the listener on a journey through the different aspects of the NHS. They can listen to the whole series or one that is relevant to them. The guests are all members of the AF PPV who gave up their time to pass on their expertise and experiences that they feel are relevant.

Scotland: Forces Children Scotland, It's time for a step change in how we achieve meaningful change!

We have launched a new vision to reach and support greater numbers of children and young people from serving, reservist and veteran families across Scotland. We have worked directly with children and young people to ensure their lived experience and views are at the heart of our new three-year strategy, which is something we are very proud to share with you.

Together we have shaped six strategic priorities to drive our ambitious plans forward to become the sector leading charity supporting children and young from serving, reservist and veteran families across Scotland.
