The NHS Scotland sexual assault self-referral phone service can help to arrange care for you in the days following a rape or sexual assault.

SARCS staff are specially trained and there to support you. You will not be rushed into making any decisions.

Yorkshire: Independent Domestic Abuse Services (IDAS)


IDAS are a specialist charity with many years’ experience of supporting and accommodating victims and survivors of domestic abuse. IDAS support anyone experiencing or affected by domestic abuse or sexual violence.
The services include refuge accommodation, community based support, peer mentoring, group work and access to a free, confidential out of hours’ helpline.

The teams of accredited specialist workers (IDVA’s and ISVAs) support people through the criminal justice system in addition to providing emotional support and safety planning advice.

Ripon: Repair Cafe -Do you have something that needs fixing for FREE


What do you do with a broken toaster?

Or with a bike when the wheel runs out of true? Or with a sweater full of moth holes? Throw it into landfill? No way!
The Repair Café takes place every other month the next is on Saturday 13th September Between 10am & 1pm then on and 8th November at St Wilfrid’s Community Centre on Trinity Lane, Ripon HG4 2AB.

Ripon Repair Café is a neighbourhood initiative that promotes free repairs as an alternative to throwing household items out.
Residents of Ripon and surrounding areas can bring their broken items to the Café to be fixed for free on the spot with the help of voluntary repairers.

And enjoy cup of Tea or Coffee and a piece of cake.

We have volunteers who are experienced in;

Richmond: Support group for Autistic and Neurodivergent adults - second Thurs of the month



Autism in Richmond’s drop in sessions offer a friendly support group for all autistic and neurodivergent adults.

They take place every month at Richmond Library, on the second Thursday, 2pm - 3.30pm.

You can meet others and gain support while enjoying a brew and some cake, so come along if you can. Please contact Penny if you have any questions at all
