National County Lines and Child Exploitation Awareness Webinar – 26 June


The National County Lines Co-ordination Centre and Ivison Trust webinar on County Lines and Child Exploitation awareness for the military community has been confirmed as Friday 26th June, from 10:00 to 12:00.

This online session will be available nationally and overseas and is intended to complement the recent Escapeline face-to-face sessions.

The webinar will include presentations on social media awareness for welfare teams, parents and all teaching staff. It will also feature shared lived experiences from military families impacted by County Lines.

Free digital advice sessions in Wool

Do you know someone who needs help with their digital device? Do you or a friend have a technical issue you’d like solved? Want to learn more about online services such as booking GP appointments or applying for benefits online?

Then Dorset Council’s volunteer digital champions are ready to help you in Wool, at Wool Community Library.

They hold bookable face-to-face sessions at the Wool Community Library on Wednesdays from 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm

Bovington: Citizens Advice sessions at Bovington HIVE every Thursday - Free advice & support


The mobile advice bus will be parked adjacent to the HIVE building (Corner of King George V Road & Swinton Avenue) Speak to advisors face to face.

Available to all Garrison personnel, spouses, partners, reserves, veterans, civil servants, MOD contractors and local civilian community. Confidentiality guaranteed.

Appointments are not necessary, just turn up. First come, first serve basis.

Dorset: Bovington/Lulworth/Wool summer bus services

MoreBus "Breezer" summer bus services 30 & 31 begin running every day of the week from Saturday 23rd May 2025. The Breezer 30 and 31 services will be similar to last year.

FirstBus "Coaster" summer bus service 55 also begins running on the 23rd May, and the year-round X54 starts running to its enhanced summer timetable (extended from Wareham to Swanage).

Breezer 30 runs between Weymouth and Swanage, roughly one an hour, calling at Osmington, Winfrith, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Wool station, Wareham town and station, Corfe Castle and Swanage. Some journeys start/end at Dorchester.

Breezer 31 runs hourly in an anticlockwise circle from Wool station, calling at Winfrith, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. On schooldays, the service ends at around 13:30. On other days, the service runs on through the afternoon. The 31 is expected to continue running on weekends only until early November, as last year.

Coaster X54 runs between Weymouth and Swanage at irregular intervals, calling at Osmington, Winfrith, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Wool station, Wareham town and station, Corfe Castle and Swanage. It is expected that the X54 will be augmented by open-top service X50 during the school summer holiday period, as last year.

Coaster 55 runs hourly in a clockwise circle from Wool station, calling at Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Winfrith then back to Wool station. 

First shuttle bus 52 will run roughly every half hour between Wool station and the Tank Museum on special event days.

Blandford: Garrison housing drop in session - Wed 17th June


If you are experiencing any issues or have concerns with your service families accommodation and would like to speak to someone in person, you're welcome to drop in to the Pinnacle housing office on Mudros Road. (Blandford Camp), no appointment necessary.

Housing drop in is 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month. 0900 - 1200hrs.

Garrison families and staff are more than welcome to attend. If you wish to eat at the functions in the mess on the Friday and Saturday night, please book in advance via: Royal Signals > Events.

Accommodation is not available for the families.
