From free drop-in sessions, library activities and sports camps, there’s lots of activities for families and children to take part in this summer.
Working in partnership with organisations across the Vale, the FIS team have put together a calendar of events suitable for children and young people up to the age of 25, alongside a number of family activities.
The Council’s Libraries, Youth Service and the Healthy Living Play and Sports Teams are all offering several free events for children and teens to participate in during the school holidays. There are activities that include free or low-cost craft and story events across all Vale libraries, as well as free multi sports sessions, playschemes and play rangers, throughout the Vale.
The Youth Service have a range of youth clubs, sports camps and It’s a Knock Out, to keep young people busy.
Other activities, which will incur a charge, include drama and theatre sessions, dance and gym, animal encounters, cinema screenings, swimming lessons and much more.
The Summer Holiday Programme 2025 kicks off on Saturday 19 July and will run throughout Summer until 31 August.
