You will work as part of a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team delivering primary healthcare nursing including elements of occupational health, working with the Senior Nursing Officer (SNO) or Senior Medical Officer (SMO) within East of Scotland Combined Medical Practice (EoS CMP) and will be a focal point for Primary Health Care nursing issues within area of practice.
You will work unsupervised and provide nursing care to the Practice population at risk (PAR), holding an individual case load, and through consultation identify, assess, and diagnose patients with complex health needs, minor injuries, minor illnesses, and specific diseases within their level of competence.
You will have line management responsibilities for the Band 5 Nurse and Band 3 Healthcare Assistant (HCA).
