New festival celebrating all things Welsh – 4th July 2026
Join us on Saturday 4th July for Chepstow Town Council’s free festival, Gwyl Hwyl Cas-gwent! This brand new festival celebrates Welsh music, dance, written word, crafts, language, food and drink at venues throughout the town, with something for everyone.Gwyl Hwyl Cas-Gwent is a warm up for the The Urdd National Eisteddfod, one of Europe’s largest youth touring festivals coming to Newport in May 2027. Come along to Gwyl Hwyl Cas-Gwent for a taster of this national festival.
