South Wales: E-Scooters & E-Bikes Information
A reminder from South Wales police ahead of Christmas:
Thinking of buying an e-scooter for someone this Christmas?
Unless the lucky recipient has private land on which to use it, please think again.
We are committed to keeping our streets as safe as possible for all and – while it is legal to purchase e-scooters – as it stands they can't be licensed and insured so cannot legally be ridden on public highways.
Our officers don’t want to be seizing your son or daughter’s favourite gift from Santa so please do your research and speak to retailers before handing over your hard-earned cash.
