Scotland: THAT Guy Sexual Crime Prevention Campaign launched by Police Scotland
Between 1 April 2024 and end of September 2024 (quarters 1 and 2, 2024 – 25), 1,400 rapes were reported to Police Scotland, an increase of 19.5 per cent on the same period in 2023-24. Most offences (850) had occurred within the last 12 months. The remainder occurred more than 12 months ago.
Nearly 7,600 sexual crimes were reported in total, an increase of 3.2 per cent on the same period in 2023-24. Of those, nearly one quarter were reports of non-recent offences (1,829).

GamCare's 'Way Forward' programme - online support for women affected by harmful gambling
Way Forward is GamCare's support group for all women affected by someone else’s gambling harm. Groups aim to provide a safe, supportive and confidential space for women to share their experiences, find comfort and empower one another.
Way Forward online sessions are semi-structured, running for 1.5 hours over six weeks. Groups are led by trained facilitators specialising in supporting women who are affected by gambling-related harms.
Each week will focus on the impact of different areas of gambling harm:

Surrey: working in early years and childcare
Hampshire: Hampshire Libraries Kids' Zone

London: Home Start London
All parents struggle at one time or another and Home-Start is ready to support London families through their toughest times.
Home-Start trains and supports volunteers to work alongside parents in their own home giving compassionate and confidential support, tailored to each family. Home-Start London is a consortium of 12 local Home-Starts operating across 24 London boroughs.

On the first Monday of every month, The Shots Foundation run a sight loss soccer session at the Samuel Cody School from 1730-1830.
The Shots Foundation run these sessions to provide those over 16 with any range of sight loss the opportunity to keep active and keep their love of football alive, because football is for all.
