Stafford: Staffordshire smart alert - Last chance to share your views on council tax precept

There's one week left to have your say about how much you are willing to contribute to your local Policing & Fire & Rescue services.

Would you support an increase in council tax to help protect and improve your local services?

Staffordshire Commissioner for Police, Fire & Rescue and Crime Ben Adams is responsible for setting the budget for Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service, including the amount of council tax used for both services.

The Commissioner is now asking people across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to have their say on how much council tax they would be prepared to pay for their local Policing and Fire & Rescue services.

The consultation runs until 12 January and you can have your say here to help inform the Commissioner’s decisions: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/precept2526

Everyone is welcome – avid readers, first-time book club members and anywhere in between! Book clubs help members to meet new people, build a strong sense of connection and reduce feelings of isolation.
