Aldershot: Rushmoor Repair Cafe at The West End Centre


We will try to repair a whole host of things. Most household electrical items, clothing, woodwork, bicycles, toys, metalwork items, computers, small wooden items, even musical instruments will be considered. Aside from the short list below, which we are unable to repair, we will do our best to repair your broken items. We DON'T repair, mobile phones and tablets, microwave and some antiques.

The Rushmoor Repair will be running every third Saturday of the month at The West End Centre, 48 Queens Road, Aldershot GU11 3JD.
10.30am until 1.30pm 
LAST ENTRY at 1pm.

ONE ITEM booked at a time per customer.

The Rushmoor Repair Cafe is run by volunteers, free of charge - donations welcomed!

A new searchable functionality to support parents, carers, and young people to access the relevant information on the additional learning needs system from their area is now available on the Welsh Government website.

This will direct individuals to guidance and support on:

  • identifying additional learning needs
  • getting help from your school
  • information and advice arrangements
  • avoidance and resolution of disagreement arrangements
  • independent advocacy services and how to access them

Thanks to the amazing team at Hope Rescue , this year’s event is bigger and better than ever!

Join us on Saturday, July 5th | 10am – 4pm

Expect a fun-filled day with:

  • Dog Shows
  • Trade Stalls
  • And plenty more for the whole family to enjoy!
Dogs are welcome on short leads — just remember to clean up after your furry friends!

Stafford: The Dadicated Drop-in 21st June 10am - 1pm Family Hub Faraday Road ST16 3NQ


We are inviting Dads, Grandads, Stepdads and male carers to drop-in to find out what is on offer from the Family Hub Partnerships, discuss their experiences of being Dads, how we can shape our offer in Staffordshire to become more inclusive of Dads and explore the options for the group to become constituted.

Alongside the drop-in we are holding a small Lego building session, tabletop board games and refreshments.

Freedom's Networks team have a vacancy for Administration Assistant to support a small team of Project Managers and Lines Operatives from our office in Catterick.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

✅Timely and accurate input of weekly timesheets to ensure payroll and financial deadlines are adhered to
Raising and checking of purchase orders for subcontractor payments
Accurate and timely request of all Safe Dig documentation, to ensure paperwork is received within the required timeline for the start new projects
Creation and uploading of job packs in accordance with timeframes set by the project management team
Assisting with requesting of Customer Planned Power Cuts including liaising with the client, individual customers and operatives
Ordering of plant and traffic management from our internal hire desk
Updating of daily programme with details of work completed
Submission of data to the client in either MS Word or Excel
