Vale of Glamorgan: Leaf & Windfall Fruit Collection Service in the Vale of Glamorgan

2025 Leaf and windfall fruit collection service

Thank you to everyone who joined in last year’s leaf and windfall collection service - your efforts really made a difference in keeping our pavements safer and our streets looking their best!
Our cleansing team work hard year-round, but with so many streets to cover, community support helps us keep on top of the seasonal challenge.
Leaves or windfall fruit from your road can go in your garden waste bag if you have a paid for garden waste subscription.

If you don’t have a garden waste subscription, you can book a free collection for leaves and windfall fruit fallen on public land.

Book a leaf and windfall fruit collection

You will receive an email confirmation with details of when our crews will collect and how to present your windfall waste.
The service will run until 28 November 2025.
Alternatively, fallen leaves and fruit make great organic matter to add to your compost heap!
