Scotland: Armed Forces Talent Programme (AFTP)

The Armed Forces Talent Programme (AFTP) is opening applications soon for paid placement opportunities starting in September 2026 across NHS Scotland and partner public sector organisations.

Designed for service leavers, reservists, veterans and forces families, the programme helps translate military skills and experience into meaningful civilian careers.

Applicant information sessions will take place in June 2026, with recruitment opening in July 2026.

Our support is available before, during and after diagnosis, because we know that people and families often need guidance at many different stages — whether they are exploring neurodivergence, waiting for assessment, newly diagnosed, or looking for ongoing support later in life.
