Bovington: Tank museum 'On Track' event - Thurs 8th Oct

On-Track is FREE to attend, and FREE to exhibit. It offers valuable insights on mental and physical health, signposting toward useful communities and organisations that can support the armed forces community, networking opportunities with like-minded organisations, and a Q&A session to address your questions.

The UK Armed Forces community includes:
  • Serving Personnel: Regular and reserve members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, and Royal Air Force.
  • Veterans: Anyone who has served for at least one day in the Regular or Reserve Armed Forces.
  • Families: Spouses, civil partners, children, and dependent relatives of serving personnel or veterans.
  • The Bereaved: The immediate family members and dependents of Service personnel and veterans who have died, regardless of whether the death was connected to their Service.
  • Cadet Force Adult Volunteers & Merchant Navy: Adults who volunteer for cadet forces and members of the Merchant Navy who served on commercial vessels in support of legally defined UK military operations

Staffordshire: Pinnacle Service Families Notification relating to new builds Taylor Wimpey (mainly Wiston Croft),



We wanted to let you know about some upcoming service connection works that will be taking place over the next few weeks.

Our contractor, MV Kelly, will be carrying out essential utility connection works to support the new homes currently being built on the opposite side of the road from your property. As part of these works, there will be periods where excavation is required to install and connect services.

We appreciate that works of this nature can cause some temporary disruption, and we would like to reassure you that the works will be completed in planned phases to help minimise any inconvenience wherever possible. The programme is currently expected to be completed by the end of October 2026.

Please be assured that the work area will be always maintained and made safe, with appropriate barriers, signage, and safety measures in place to protect residents, pedestrians, and road users throughout the duration of the works.

We understand that construction activity close to your home may be inconvenient, and we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while these essential works are carried out.

The mobile advice bus will be parked adjacent to the HIVE building (Corner of King George V Road & Swinton Avenue) Speak to advisors face to face.

The annual Country Fayre and Dog Show takes place at the Margaret Green Animal Rescue Centre in Church Knowle, Wareham (BH20 5NQ).

Gates open at 11:00 AM, and the dog show kicks off at 12:00 PM
