Aldershot: Rushmoor Borough Council - Armed Forces Day National Event 2026

What's on

The celebrations will include a parade featuring military bands from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army and Royal Air Force, leading marching detachments of military personnel, cadets and veterans. The parade will include 3 PARA with Pegasus the pony, marching down down Queens Avenue as a A400M performs a flypast.

Historic aircraft from the Royal Air Force’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will also do a flypast to help celebrate Farnborough’s role as the birthplace of British military aviation.

Three military parachute display teams – the British Army Red Devils, Royal Air Force Falcons and Royal Navy Raiders – will fill the skies with colourful canopies as they wow everyone with a gravity-defying demonstration of skill and courage.
