Help for Heroes Cafes are informal, relaxed events where you can meet and enjoy time with other veterans and families. It could be anything from a coffee morning or veteran hub to a veteran-led group. These welcoming events run across the UK and are open to all members of the Armed Forces community.
It's an easy way to dip your toes back into the water and feel like part of a community again. There's no need to book, just turn up and say hello. First brew is on us.

NAAFI Fund 2026: there’s a month left to submit your applications – closes 4th Sept
Since their launch in 2020, they have supported 541 projects totalling £4,844,227.
Mark Your Calendars
- Two-month window: Applications opened on Wednesday 1st July and closes on Friday 4th September, meaning you have one more month to get your project ideas in.
- One-Stage Application: No complicated stages, just one straightforward application to complete.
