Wiltshire: Free training and support for unpaid carers in Wiltshire - Thu 20 Jun in Melksham

 

Last year a survey went out to unpaid carers by Carer Support Wiltshire to find out what unpaid carers would like to be trained on. Following the survey, Wiltshire Council is offering a range of FREE training to support unpaid carers and deliver training in areas requested from the survey.

The first round of face to face training will be held on Thursday 20th June 2024 in Melksham Community Campus – with the following training sessions and times:

• Stress awareness training 1000-1100
• First aid training 1130-1230
• Mental capacity act training 1300-1400
• Manual handling training 1430-1530

This training is for carers of all ages. You can book on to all of these or just the ones you are interested in.
