Scotland: Poppyscotland can help with mobility if you are limited in your daily activities


If you are limited in your daily activities because of a health problem or disability, we can help with practical mobility assistance.

We can arrange for an assessment to be undertaken by an occupational therapist (where statutory funding is not available or where statutory waiting lists are considered to be too lengthy), who will engage with you to understand the impact of your mobility issues and highlight your needs.

When you call, you’ll be asked to select one of the following options, to be connected to the area you are seeking support from:
Press option 1: for Statutory Assessment Review Service (SARS)
Press option 2: for SEND Advice and Information
Press option 3: for SEND Support Services
The helpdesk is open Monday to Friday, from 9am – 4:30pm.

Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust - Reducing Veteran homelessness programme reopens for applications

The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (the Trust) has announced a new round of funding under the Reducing Veteran Homelessness (RVH) Programme in a bid to deliver further sustainable, supported housing options for veterans in need.

The Trust is delivering this important programme on behalf of the Office of Veterans’ Affairs (OVA) in support of the government’s ambition to end veteran homelessness and ensure veterans have access to the support they need, including housing.
