York: Open Age York Women's 5 a Side Football
Are you wanting to give football a go, or maybe you used to play and you want to get back into it, then come along to our friendly 5-a-side football group.
All abilities and fitness levels welcome.
This is a friendly group of mostly over 25's with a mixture of football experience (ranging from none to semi pro). Our aim is to bring ladies together for an hour of football fun.
Anyone is welcome to come down and see if you like it.

Sign up for a 2 half day REHIS course that will cover topics such as hygiene in preparation, cooking and storage of food and current food legislation.
Dates: 10th and 11th September
Time: 9.30am–2.00pm

The Duke of York's Royal Military School Celebrates Exceptional A Level and BTEC Results
Students at The Duke of York’s Royal Military School are celebrating another year of exceptional results in their A Level and BTEC examinations. This year, the average A Level grade achieved by students was a B, while BTEC students also performed impressively.
Principal Alex Foreman praised the hard work and determination of students and staff, stating: "Our unique school continues to deliver outstanding outcomes for our students, academically and personally. Our Dukies are supported by exceptional teachers and pastoral staff, and they flourish in a setting that encourages them to aim high and develop the skills required to succeed. Our students have shown remarkable determination and commitment, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved.
