Edinburgh: Lifeworks Edinburgh 3rd-6th November
Lifeworks is an employability skills course that is different from others out there. Here’s what you need to know.
The Lifeworks Edinburgh course is tailored to suit ex-military personnel and the families of those currently serving, specifically designed to help those in need, transition from their military surroundings to achieving their goals in the civilian job market. Whether the attendee has left the armed forces recently, further in their past or is a relation of someone currently serving.
It’s been established for over a decade and won the ‘British Ex-forces in Business’ ex-forces of the year initiative award in 2020.
It focusses on the individuals goals and ambitions as opposed to un-desirable fast track employment.
The course does cover CV’s, application forms and interviews, but adds transferable skills, how to find a job that you actually want, and begins all this with recognising and dealing constructively with change.
