Grantham: Welcome to The Spinney - no entry charge and all activities free

Welcome to The Spinney

The Spinney is a wonderful community woodland playspace in South Lincolnshire which adults and children can visit 365 days a year.

It provides a fantastic setting where everyone is allowed to run wild in the woods. There is no entry charge and all activities are free. Adjoining the Spinney there is a large wildflower meadow with mown paths where you can also walk at any time.

The Spinney is situated just north of the village of Little Bytham, which lies 6 miles north of Stamford on the B1176 road.

Veterans Oyster photocard and HM Armed Forces Veteran Card holders can receive a 50% discount off all of our fares. This includes Hop-on Hop-off tickets, single tickets and season tickets.
This discount can be accessed by booking via our website, the Tickets app, at the ticket office or at the ticket machine and selecting the Concession fare.
You will need to show your UK Veterans photocard to a member of staff when asked.
Please note, if you wish to touch in and out with your War Veteran Pass, you must have sufficient credit on your Oyster card.
