The Armed Forces Continuous Attitude Survey (AFCAS) closes this week – on Monday 2 February 2026, 11.59 pm.
This survey is an opportunity for Service personnel to reflect on, and voice, which parts of Service life they are satisfied with, and what they feel could be improved.Your feedback helps to inform Defence’s policies and initiatives to improve Service life. Whether it’s with accommodation, pay and allowances or career progression.
Here are some recent examples which demonstrate Defence’s commitment and action to improve lived experiences in the Armed Forces:
- Families Hub – Check out Defence’s information portal, with useful signposting to information, support and organisations, to help you navigate Service family life. Visit the Families Hub.
- Simplifying overseas service finances – Defence’s new digital tools and updated allowances help you and your family navigate the financial aspects of overseas assignments – with greater confidence and less paperwork. Read more on the BFBS website.
