Chepstow Town Council - Armistice Day 2026 – notice of plans
Armistice Day 2026 is on Wednesday 11th November
A commemoration and 2-minutes silence will be held at the War Memorial, starting at 10.40am.
Remembrance Sunday – 8th November
A Remembrance Sunday Parade, in conjunction with the Royal British Legion, starts at 10.40am at Welsh Street Car Park. A 2-minute silence will be held at 11am by the War Memorial followed by a service at St. Mary’s Church.
Road closures will be in place on Sunday 8th November as follows:
-High Street, Oxford Street, Beaufort Square, Bank Street, Hocker Hill Street - 10am-2pm
-Welsh Street, Moor Street - 10.45-11am
-Upper Church Street, Middle Street - 10.45-11.15am
